Checking Out Some Social Networking Sites

I looked at Facebook, MySpace and Friendster and thought that I am hermit. I am not ready to share my information with anyone and I don't have time for new friends. The ones I have now have written me off because I never call, email, write or IM them. Awhile ago I joined LinkedIn. It's a professional networking site for keeping in touch with people you have worked with in the past. Many of the people I worked with in the past use it to stay in touch. I don't keep up with them either. It would seem that I am a dinosaur in this fast pace digital age. Let's see of this class pushes me past my fears about privacy and join the new media revolution.
